About Us

I decided to start up The Global Listeners company because I personally have experience working overseas as an International Teacher. Working abroad has its own unique quirks, missing home, getting used to new cultures, making new friends and finding a new routine. During my time abroad, I wish I had someone impartial to talk to who understood what I was going through.

Each experience is different, and our Listeners are from all walks of life, previously expats, Educators, Parents and training Counsellors or trained listeners.

Our Philosophy

Giving everyone working overseas the space to be heard. As an international teacher and a counsellor, I understand the difficulties and struggles of finding that person to talk to. That is why I have started The Global Listeners, to ensure Expats around the world have someone to turn to at a reasonable price with a schedule that suits their needs.
